The firmware version of the CANTCU Controller is checked every time it is connected via USB to a computer and CANTCU Configurator is launched. If the controller and configurator versions don't match, a request for a firmware update will appear. Updating the firmware is a fully automated process. If a firmware update fails, the old firmware will stay active.

NOTE: Do not attempt a firmware update while driving/car is running.
