Race+ is the recommended solution for new ZF 8HP installations.
It retains OEM-level drivability while giving CANTCU direct, live control over transmission behaviour and Race+ functions. Configuration changes can be made through CANTCU Configurator without reflashing the transmission.
Support is based on the transmission model, not the original vehicle manufacturer. The same Race+ installation method is used whether the transmission originally came from BMW, Dodge, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Alfa Romeo or another manufacturer.

CANTCU Flasher refers to the legacy transmission flasher used for Stock, OEM+, custom flashing and supported third-party workflows.
For new installations using 8HP45 / 50 / 70 / 75 / 90 / 95, Race+ should normally be used instead of the legacy transmission-specific installation methods.
