Race+ is the recommended TCM software for supported ZF 8HP installations with CANTCU.
Race+ retains the smooth, refined drivability of the OEM 8HP software while adding full live control over transmission behaviour and additional Race+ functions.
Transmission adjustments such as shift maps, RPM limits, converter behaviour and other Race+ settings can be changed directly through CANTCU Configurator without reflashing the transmission.
Race+ also provides one common installation and wiring method across supported 8HP transmissions, regardless of the original vehicle manufacturer.

¶ Installation
For new 8HP installations, Race+ is the preferred solution and uses one common wiring method regardless of the transmission donor vehicle. Note that previously built wiring will also work without any changes.

Race+ is installed using the 8HP TCM Tool. For first-time installation, create a stock backup before programming Race+.
